Wash And Wax FAQs

Do you go to me?

Yes, we are mobile and we would detail your vehicle at your home, apartment, or work location. We service the entire RGV and nearby areas like La Feria, Harlingen, Rangerville, San Benito, Rio Hondo, etc…

What waxes do you use?

We use different brands depending on the vehicle like Meguiar’s, Turtle Wax, and Wolfgang. It all comes down to what vehicle we are working on and what we decide would suit your vehicle. Our main choice would be Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0.

How long will the wax last?

How long the wax lasts really depends on the conditions your vehicle will be in. If it is in the garage at work and at home 85% of the time, then it can last between four to six months. If you have your car sitting out in the sun, cold, and rain for the weather to take effect 100% of the time, then you might get three months out of the wax.

Do you need access to water?

If we are working at your home, if possible, we’ll use the water faucet you have. If we are working at an apartment or your place of work, we would need to have access to a water faucet and an outlet.

Does this remove any scratches from my paint?

When we apply a wax it will hide the micro-light swirls and any soft scratches that are in your paint. They’re essentially covered up with wax which creates more gloss and shine. While it does hide the light scratches this process does not remove any of the scratches. Your paint will still come out much glossier because of the wax layer over your vehicle.
